About USA Judo
USA Judo, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is the national Governing Body (NGB) for the sport of Judo in the United States. Established in 1980, USA Judo is a member of the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee as well as the International Judo Federation. USA Judo is one of the few NGB's that serve both Olympic and Paralympic (visually impaired) disciplines under one roof.
USA Judo provides programs and resources to enable American judo athletes from beginners to Olympic and Paralympic medalists in achieving sustained skill development and competitive excellence in domestic and international judo competitions.
Most of the funding to support USA Judo and its constituents comes from membership dues, grants from the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee, national competitions, donations, sponsorship and merchandise sales.
In 2019, USA Judo partnered with Required Team Gear (RTG) and Under Armour to become the Official USA Judo Team Outfitter and apparel provider. In addition to outfitting USA Judo’s National Teams, RTG attends all USA Judo National Events as a vendor, administers the USA Judo on-line store, and provides on-line stores for USA Judo Clubs’ Apparel.

About Required Team Gear
Required Team Gear was established in 2009 to fill what at the time was a void in the team sports category: a seamless, hassle-free way for coaches to order uniforms and team gear. RTG began as a software business that created online team stores depicting uniform items coaches required players to purchase. Team members and parents received a unique access code allowing them to log in and purchase those items.
Over time, RTG became knowledgeable about screen printing, embroidery, and the apparel decorating industry as a whole and launched what is today’s RTG. Instead of outsourcing screen print, embroidery, and other embellishment, RTG now has all operations in-house. From its start with one embroidery machine, one screen-print machine, five employees, and a largely empty 50,000-square-foot warehouse, RTG now employs more than 70 employees and the following equipment:
· A 10-person graphic arts department, which can help customers create custom artwork
· Four automatic screen-print and six manual screen-print machines able to handle jobs of all sizes and degrees of complexity
· 89 embroidery heads
· Six digital-fusion machines used to apply designs, names, and numbers to garments
· One industrial laser to create and cut tackle twill and etch metal items
· Two sublimation machines
